Exquisite Corpse Fall Gala

On October 19, 2024, the Riverside Arts Center hosted the Exquisite Corpse Fall Gala. Inspired by the collaborative surrealist art game originating in France, this unique evening of creativity and imagination included locally made hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, music, a silent auction featuring art & exclusive items from area artists and businesses, and live exquisite corpse drawings by talented community members.

Together, we raised more than $26,000 to ensure that the arts are thriving and accessible in Riverside! Your incredible support ensures that artists like the 107 artists we exhibited and the 900 community members touched by RAC’s work this year can thrive and continue to engage in the arts! Our gratitude for purchasing tickets and sponsorships, buying raffle tickets, bidding on auction items, making in-kind donations, and, most of all, believing in the power of the arts to nurture our community!

Photobooth

On May 24, 2024, the Riverside Arts Center and A&A Studios hosted a sold out evening for RAC’s spring fundraiser, Photobooth. We showcased the magnificent creative work of Riverside's Andrea and Anthony Vizzari, proprietors of A&A Studios, a multifaceted creative studio dedicated to preserving the beauty of vintage photo booths and the legacy of analog photography.

Over seventy guests had the opportunity to step inside a selection of vintage photobooths, tour a photography lab, and view an extensive collection of antique photos. They enjoyed wine, cocktails, and delicious small bites from Lagniappe Beverage, Owen's Craft Mixers, and Stella’s while bidding on exciting art and themed silent auction items from A&A Studios, Ballyhoo Hospitality, The Book Table, Paul D’Amato, Edith Farnsworth House, Ale Alverez Visual, Brasero, Michelangelo Sabatino and Kim Freeark.

The Shape of Things to Come

The Shape of Things to Come is a limited edition print fundraiser for the Riverside Arts Center (RAC). It is a phrase that has been used by many artists, from H.G. Wells in 1933 to the Yardbirds in 1967. We invited 11 artists who have had exhibitions at the Arts Center to respond conceptually and formally to that phrase to create a set of unique images, which we have made into a limited edition of 20 inkjet prints.
